As it is a new disease. Overcoming it needs to be a multi pronged approach and must have meticulous monitoring of all available treatment modalities to prevent inducing unintended harm. Treatments must be fluid to be able to move with the mutations. Treatments must not suppress bodies natural immunity. Treatments should be able to combat various strains not just the latest variant. Large portions of population have high immunity to the virus. Testing for those people should be made available. Once the immune group is determined the vulnerable can be focussed on.
