The Edeling Medico-Legal Consultancy Trust was founded in 2003 by Dr Herman J Edeling.
The Edeling Medico-Legal Consultancy Trust serves clients (both plaintiff and defendant) by providing Medico-Legal expertise at any stage of the dispute resolution process. This work typically involves consultations, review of records and reports, report writing, pre-trial meetings with experts, pre-trial meetings with counsel and giving expert evidence in court
As Dr Edeling is also an accredited mediator, services include pre-mediation meetings and mediations.
Public Benefit Services
EMLCT has provided the professional services of Dr Herman J Edeling free of charge to teach medico-legal courses to SAMLA members and other medico-legal practitioners, to develop and promote specialized medical mediation, and to assist with the management and development of SAMLA in the pursuit of its transformational public benefit goals.
EMLCT has also provided SAMLA with office space, secretarial services and equipment free of charge.
